Friends in BloomGarden Club

Where East Tennessee neighbors gather and gardens grow.

Friends in Bloom Garden Club is a friendly group of growers who meet monthly to share knowledge, tour each other's gardens, host plant sales, and listen to invited speakers. New gardeners and old hands equally welcome.

What we do

Four seasons of good company

Monthly meetings

Talks from invited horticulturists, hands-on workshops, and seasonal show-and-tell. Refreshments provided.

Plant sales & swaps

Spring and fall sales of member-grown perennials, seedlings, and divisions. Proceeds fund the public-garden grants program.

Garden tours

Members host one another through their gardens — propagation tips, nursery visits, and plant swaps along the way. The best classroom we have.

Our story

Tending shared ground since 19__

We started as a handful of neighbors swapping cuttings over a fence. Today the club runs talks, plant sales, garden gatherings, and a small grants program that helps schools build their own vegetable plots. Members range from first-time growers to lifelong horticulturists.
